We have developed our two sided marketplace with a major focus of attention around providing an ecommerce solution to companies wishing to engage with qualified external training providers in order to purchase training. Included also, we have built in some functions to help with learning & engagement between employer & employee.
Knowing that workplace training plays a very important part in bringing each employee closer to their role in terms of engagement & productivity, we aim to play an important link in helping you to get your staff all trained up to carry out their tasks to the best of their ability; ensuring they are applying their leanings whilst always playing their part in the practice of good health & safety.
What you can expect from us!
We offer an employee engagement App which works in tandem with your company dashboard – once they have created their profile; each employee has an instant connection to the company portal giving them a range of features to enhance employee engagement. Our model is based on a pay as you use service – you pay per user per month to access the features of the App & dashboard.
Included in your dashboard is the option to create internal learning & training material & videos which you can push out to your employees via their App – think induction training, new procedures or even how to work a new machine you are brining into your operation for example; could our system help to streamline the learning process for you & your team?!
Should you wish to purchase training from an external provider, you have access to a library of courses – allowing you to carry out your research & read some reviews; from there providing you with the option to make a purchase of a particular training type you are looking for directly from us. You get full exposure to the trainers’ credentials before you make your purchase; once you have decided which course you are going for, we facilitate the whole transaction.
Once you make your purchase, our automation kicks in to notify your training provider of your purchase; depending on the type of course delivery option you have chosen will dictate what happens next i.e. if you have purchased a ticket for a training webinar you will receive a link by email etc. You will receive reminder emails to your inbox for future courses you have purchased.
Our vetting process for all training providers wishing to engage our services offers you peace of mind that each provider has satisfied our strict requirements before being admitted onboard our platform as a vendor.
Particularly where health & safety training is concerned, our code of practice prevents any trainer from engaging our services until they have uploaded their up-to-date training instructor certificates plus a copy of their valid insurance policy. That’s a great help, isn’t it?
Our foundations have been built on providing cost effective & accessible training, making it available to everyone. Through our own research it has become evident that training is on the list of things needed by companies –in some cases that need to carry out training remains at the bottom of an ever growing list. Everyone deserves the opportunity to take part in job specific training – it shouldn’t remain at the bottom of that list. Should it?
Why does it stay at the bottom of that list?
There are various reasons – cost is not always the main factor either.
Time is a huge factor. At times when employees have been released for participation on a training course, it puts a huge strain on the operation depending on the role of the employee.
Adding extra stress to an already busy environment has the ability to create tensions in a workforce which results in reduced productivity – then money plays a part where an operation falls behind.
Does all training need to be carried out in a class room environment? It definitely doesn’t.
