Manual Handling - General
As part of the SHWWA 2005, you are legally obliged to partake in a manual handling course as set out by the Health & Safety Authority. The content in this short course follows the QQI guidelines & provides you with information & advice on how best to carry out your lifting duties to avoid injury to yourself. Poor manual handling techniques may not have a direct impact today or tomorrow but can impact your posture in later life.

Hi. I'm Aidan Moroney. I am a full time training provider since February 2020.My background comes from the warehouse & transport side of things where my own experience of training was lackluster to say the least. Having suffered an injury that put me into hospital for a couple of weeks due to poor technique when lifting a heavy object, it was then I got interested in safety training. It began as a side hustle which then turned into my full time role due to redundancy. As a freelance trainer I offer the following training types Manual Handling, Counterbalance Forklift, Reach-truck, Basic Fire Awareness & Abrasive Wheels. Thanks for reading
